Jamorama Acoustic is aimed at the acoustic guitar player and is quite literally the acoustic version of Ben’s popular Jamorama! Guitar course that has lead the guitar learning market for the past several years.

Jamorama Acoustic comes with 153 video lessons and is packed with tips and tricks to get the student playing in the shortest time possible. The thing about Jamorama Acoustic that sets it apart from all other courses is that it is an integrated learning kit with lessons, games and practice “jam tracks” put together in a way that gets tangible results fast. Every aspect of the course from the way it is downloaded, to the way lessons are laid out, to the Acoustic Jam Tracks that come with the course for a learner to practice what’s being taught in context makes Jamorama Acoustic easy and fun to use

Jamorama Acoustic Guitar is a practical course. Ben hasn’t loaded it down with a lot of unnecessary theory. While you will come away from the course with skills like being able to ready guitar TAB, you won’t spend time learning theory that has little or no application.

I give Jamorama Acoustic a score of 10 out of 10! If you want to learn acoustic guitar and are looking at an online course, I wholeheartedly recommend Jamorama Acoustic Guitar. You will not find more information packaged in a user-friendly course for so little money anywhere.

Jamorama Acoustic Guitar

Team Method guitar

Team Method Guitar

Finally, someone has come up with a better way to learn to play the guitar! In fact it’s such a simple concept that it’s amazing that someone hasn’t done this until now.

Team Method Guitar is a guitar course put together and taught by a team of guitar experts. They have specialists for acoustic, lead, theory and many more areas. By using a team approach the guitar player learns a variety of methods and styles and doesn’t pick up bad habits or any one particular style.

Team method Guitar is also a MASSIVE course. There are six books with almost 500 pages of information, 10 DVDs and CDs with video lessons and play along jam tracks, several mini courses covering playing by ear and acoustic guitar, and several software games to speed learning.

You shouldn’t confuse Team method Guitar with other guitar sites that offer lessons and tips from different teachers. TMG is definitely a GUITAR COURSE, not just random tips and tricks.

Perhaps the most impressive thing among some very impressive features of this course is that Team Method Guitar offers students live support. In fact you can talk online with the actual team members who helped put the course together. In this day of impersonal internet marketing this personal touch is in itself amazing.

Team Method Guitar is the Rolls Royce of guitar courses. It’s hard to imagine anything that these guys have left out. About the only negative is that being the top end of the market means that this course isn’t cheap, but you certainly get your money’s worth, and if money is an issue they also offer a less-expensive downloadable version.

If you are serious about learning to play guitar then you really must consider Team Method Guitar. In my opinion it’s a “10”.

Team Method Guitar

Jamorama The Ultimate Guitar Learning Kit

“Jamorama – the Ultimate Guitar Learning Kit” -

Product Review:

The Jamorama team have developed a new version of the extremely popular learn guitar course that has set the standard for online and downloadable guitar courses. Obviously I see a lot of products
either because I'm looking for something specific, or
because someone wants me to promote their product.

Most of the time I'm less than impressed, but this
product has me quite excited because it is so different
from anything I have seen in a long time. That is why
I have taken the time to sit and type a letter to all
the people I know and tell you all about it.

Learning the blues can be a frustrating task. It seems
so simple, but only a handful of people seem to know
the trick to really making it sound great. Griff and
his team have put together what I believe is a really
thorough, step-by-step method that has actually been
tested and proven on his own guitar students over the
past several years.

The main book provides all of the scales, techniques,
theory, and tricks that you'll need. It follows a
simple and logical progression. Each chapter builds on
the one before it. At the end of each chapter, you'll
be told exactly what you need to be able to do before
moving on to the next chapter. You can't fail with this.

The best part, however, is the audio examples and jam
tracks. Every audio example comes with a full speed
and slow speed version, so you can play along easily
at first, and pick up the pace as you get better.

There's also 4 complete solos that really sound like
they are from your favorite blues songs. You could
memorize them and totally use them at your next blues
jam or gig. They demonstrate all of the techniques
throughout the book, and give a very good "real world"
example of the techniques and approach.

Also, there are 6 jam tracks that come with the
package, so once you get going you can just play
along with the band. And the tracks are really good
quality, just like you're jamming with a real band.
It's a lot of fun.

As a bonus Griff has included an excellent book full
of turnaround and ending licks. Some of them are
pretty straight forward blues, but a couple of them
are real head-turners.

As you can tell, I'm really impressed with this
package as a whole. The testimonials on the website
prove that I'm not alone. This is a very well thought
out, tested, and put together system.

Don’t just take my word for it though, take a look
for yourself

Testimonial

"Thanks for writing Playing Through the Blues. Your book contains very useful information related to playing the blues. During the last eighteen years I have worked as a music educator (including guitar classes) in public and private schools. My interest in blues guitar has peaked over the last few years. During this time I have purchased a variety of books and tapes on this subject. Your book is certainly a welcome addition to my collection. I appreciate your thoughtful and practical organization of blues scales and applications; it is easy to read and understand. I have benefited from your examples of connecting scales positions together. It has also been helpful to listen to the mp3 examples and analyze your solo transcriptions. You really have provided the essential information aspiring guitarists need to know." -- Steve (USA)
